Quiet day in the sun today. We both had breakfast out on the deck again and read a chapter or two before I settled down to do some more job searching. After experiencing the sun effects a couple of days ago, even I had to put on some sun lotion today – the lack of ozone over NZ is certainly a drawback if you like lying out in the sun and getting some rays for hours on end!!<\/p>\n
Not many new jobs posted today, it must be Christmas or something! As it’s coming up to the Xmas school holidays – 6 weeks for the kids here – not too surprising really. Everyone seems to be winding down. It is hard to tell though, as the Kiwis are pretty laid back in the first place!<\/p>\n
For those of you that know Louise, and her penchant for christmas decs, the idea of her coming out to stay for 6-9 months in New Zealand over the christmas period with just a USB Xmas tree and a string of lights must have been hard to believe. Well, that is all we came out with. HOWEVER, we also now have a Christmas tree (albeit a medium sized fake one!) bedecked with NZ style baubles and decorations – evidently she couldn’t stand it anymore and just HAD to get it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
